HISTORY: Traditionally, parents of Cedar Park seniors have raised funds in the name of Project Graduation (PG) to provide for a drug and alcohol-free celebration of their hard work over the past 13 years. The celebration is an all-night lock-in the night of graduation and provides our seniors with one last time together before heading off to do great things in the world.

Project Graduation was conceived in Maine over 40 years ago after 18 teens lost their lives in drug and alcohol-related crashes following high school graduations. The event was so well received that it was quickly adopted by other high schools throughout the nation.

This is a totally self-supporting program sponsored by Cedar Park parents and our community; we receive no funding from the school budget. Project Graduation is a certified 501c3 as a charitable entity; thus, all donations are tax-free. There are several opportunities to become involved and we would love for you to join us! This is a true graduation gift for Cedar Park High School Class of 2024

What is Project Graduation?

WHEN & WHERE IS PROJECT GRADUATION?

Project Graduation venue will be held at Main Event. Grads should be dropped off at CPHS at 11pm the night of graduation. They will get checked-in will be in the cafeteria. Grads will board buses to Main Event. There will be unlimited bowling, laser tag, billiards, glow golf, and video games. They will have 2 food buffets one early in the event and one around 5am. This may be the last time some of these high school friends see each other before wandering into the world of adulthood. The event will end at 6am with pick-up at CPHS by their parents. (We do recommend they are dropped off & picked up since they will be without sleep on such an exciting night.)

ARE STUDENTS ALLOWED TO LEAVE & COME BACK?

UPDATE: Students will spend the night at the Main Event. There will be ONE opportunity for a parent to come and sign out their graduate at Main Event. ONLY FROM 4am - 4:30am. No in / out will be allowed. If there is an emergency and a student must leave, there will be a sign-out procedure with one parent picking up the student.
